Since the age of 12, I remember getting into the metal scene because of my sister’s boyfriend, introducing me to bands such as Fear Factory and Godsmack. As I entered high school, my love for music was starting to mature and unfold. I was tired of just listening to the music; I had to play it. As Korn being my favorite band, I really started to dig deeper into the music. By that time it just hit me, I had to play drums. I was also the one who didn’t want to play the guitar like all my other friends.

I got my first kit during my freshmen year of high school. It was a black Tama Rock Star, which I eventually sold for an older, bigger and better Rock Star, a 1989 eight piece kit. My first and only band I was in, until now, was a metal band. And that is where I learned about being in a band; playing shows and practicing every chance I got. I grew a great deal being in that band and learned all about writing and performing music. You could say that those experiences were stepping stones to Three Machine.
